Known IP Address

The Known IP Address page enables you to define a global list of IP addresses from which users can access a tenant. If a user attempts to access the tenant from an IP address that is not on the list, access is denied.

  1. From the Main Menu, go to Administration > Application Setup > Common SetupKnown IP Address. Your current IP address is listed on the left side of the page.
  2. (Not available in Release 9 Update 4 and later) At the top of the page is the IP Restriction Enforcement check box. Click Enable to block all IP ranges unless explicitly allowed on the page.
Uwaga:

Be aware of the following:

  • By default, the IP Restriction Enforcement checkbox is not set — you must manually enable it. Even after configuring the known addresses, the feature remains disabled until it is enabled.
  • The checkbox is also disabled after your tenant is refreshed or cloned and you must manually enable it.
  • The system does not allow you to block the IP address that you are using.
  • Enabling IP Restrictions may adversely affect integrations. If you enable IP restrictions, you should consider the IP addresses from which API requests for integrations may originate. If a required IP address is blocked, the integration will fail.

Depending on your requirements, you can create, edit, or delete known IP addresses from this page. You must create at least one IP address and ensure that the IP address from which you are accessing the configuration page is included. If you are working from a blocked IP address, a message appears: You must allow access to the current IP address.
